ANCIENT ROYAL MANOR HOUSE STOOD ON UPPER OR NE PART OF KINGSBURY (B4).
TRADITIONAL SITE OF ROYAL RESIDENCE AT AYLESBURY WAS KINGSBURY. HENRY I STAYED HERE 1105/1106 & HENRY II HAD AN INN OR HOSPITUM HERE, THOUGH NO EXPENDITURE ON ITS BUILDINGS IS RECORDED (B5).
