FINE GRAINED ?GNEISS; BROAD THIN BUTTED TYPE WITH SLIGHTLY TAPERING OUT- LINE. FOUND IN CUTTING, AYLESBURY-CHEDDINGTON RAILWAY NEAR BIERTON (B1).
ONLY CUTTING ON FORMER RAILWAY AT BIERTON IS AT NGR. DATE OF FIND? RAILWAY BUILT 1836-9 (B2).
AXE IS OF PYROXENE-GRANULITE (SKETCH)(B3).
