PROBABLE LOCATION OF HEATHEN BURIAL PLACE ON BOUNDS OF MONKS RISBOROUGH AT GALLOWS CROSS WHERE CADSDEN ROAD, FORMERLY GALLOWS LANE, CROSSES THE ICKNIELD WAY (B2).
MENTIONED IN MONKS RISBOROUGH SAXON CHARTER OF AD 903 (B1).
