MR LUDLOW (FARMER) RECALLS THAT C.50 YRS AGO MUCH STONE WAS EXTRACTED FROM APPROX AREA OF COIN FINDS; NOT A QUARRY BUT MORE LIKE A PIT FROM WHICH STONES WERE DUG NOT MINED. AREA LATER FILLED WITH MODERN RUBBISH. POSSIBILITY OF WALLS/FOUNDATIONS? (B3).
