BRONZE BUCKLE & KEY, ROMAN. DONATED TO BCM BY DR A MORLEY DAVIES, 1910 (B1). FOUND IN AREA OF NGR (B2). BUCKLE (00:001), KEY (00:002).


A Roman bronze buckle and key found at Potters' Field, Winchmore Hill, (name SU 931949) were presented to the County Museum in 1910 by Dr A Morley Davies. (1)

Acc No 1910:428. No further details (B4).

According to local information Potters Field was between the angles of two roads at the centre of Winchmore Hill at SU 934948. The area is now developed (B5).
