ROMAN VESSEL FOUND TOGETHER WITH A FEW BROKEN PIECES OF POTTERY & SOME BONES IN A GRAVEL PIT, ABOUT 2 MILES FROM BUCKINGHAM, ON THE BRACKLEY ROAD (B1).
OS 1:10560 MAP SHOWS AN 'OLD QUARRY' BESIDE BUCKINGHAM-BRACKLEY ROAD, ALMOST EXACTLY 2 MILES FROM BUCKINGHAM. NGR TO THIS (B2).
