Description

POSSIBLE THAT PART OF A MOUND ABUTTING TRACKWAY BEFORE IT RISES TO E END OF POPHLEY'S WOOD IS THE REMAINS OF A BRONZE AGE BARROW (B1). EXCEPT FOR SWELLING IN TRACKWAY NO POSITIVE TRACE OF BARROW VISIBLE. MR HEAD FAILED TO CONFIRM SITE (B2). NO TRACE OF BARROW. SLIGHT SWELLING IN ROAD AT NGR (B3).
