Plan Form - PEAR SHAPED
MID ACHEULIAN HANDAXE, OVATE ON THICK FLAKE (BI1). FOUND W FILBY (BI2). DRAWN (BI4). AXE HAS AN IRREGULAR PYRIFORM SHAPE, ROUGHLY OVATE & HAS LOST SOME OUTLIN E. BUTT OF ROUGH CORTEX. GOOD SOFT HAMMER FLAKING. MUCH WEATHERED & EXFOLIATED BUT NOT WATER ROLLED, WITH LATER DAMAGE. SOME IRON STAINING (BI5)
