Description
SHERDS FROM DITCH SPOIL; PLOUGHED FIELDS EITHER SIDE CONTAINED NO POTTERY. POTTERY FOUND CONSISTS OF: 6 RIMS; 2 SHERDS GREY FOLDED BEAKER(?); 1 SHERD POPPYHEAD BEAKER; 30 MISC SHERDS; 2 PIECES OF UNDATED TILE (B1).
A scatter of Romano-British pottery was found in the spoil thrown up from a ditch in Hardwick at SP78871855. The finds included a poppy-head beaker sherd (B2).
