Description

1788 MAP MARKS WATERMILL APPROX AT NGR (B1).
1825 MAP MARKS 'CHAPEL MILL' APPROX AT NGR (B2).
'OVERSHOT MILL (PAPER & CORN)' AT NGR (B3).
WHEEL A SMALL OVERSHOT (UNUSUAL ON WYE). CORN MILLING IN 1 HALF, PAPER MAKING IN OTHER. BURNT DOWN 1886 & AGAIN 1935 (NOT REBUILT). SLIGHT REMAINS OF SLUICES AT PROBABLE SITE (B4-5).
Detailed historical notes, photo, and condition of surviving remains in 1939. No visible remains in 2006 (B7).
