Description

Grade II. Formerly Barn to north east of Smalldean Farmhouse. Cottage adapted from barn. C18. Timber framed, weatherboarded on brick and flint plinth. Exposed timber framing with brick infill to rear wall. Old tiled roof. Two C20 brick chimneys. Projecting gabled former cart entry in centre of front to garden C20 dark stained windows with leaded glazing. Lower roofed wing to LH, flint and brick below, weatherboarding above. Old tiled roof, gabled loft entry to rear wall. Interior: 3 bays, subdivided to form cottage. Included for group value (B1).
