Deserted Medieval Village at Putlowes included in list of Bucks DMVs (B1).
DRAWING OF VILLAGE SITE WITH POSS HOUSE PLATFORMS & HOLLOW WAYS (B2).
NO DOCUMENTARY EVIDENCE FOR SETTLEMENT AT PUTLOWES. HOWEVER VCH LISTS 3 MANORS SO MAYBE 1 OF THOSE. NAME PUTLOWES DOES NOT FEATURE IN BUCKS PLACE NAME SOCIETY VOLUME (B3).
No trace of settlement pattern in pastured fields (B4,B6).

Nothing visible on available RAF A/Ps (B5)
