NO DOCUMENTARY EVIDENCE FOR SETTLEMENT AT PUTLOWES. HOWEVER VCH LISTS 3 MANORS SO MAYBE 1 OF THOSE. NAME PUTLOWES DOES NOT FEATURE IN BUCKS PLACE NAME SOCIETY VOLUME (B3).
No trace of settlement pattern in pastured fields (B4,B6).
