IN LIST OF BUCKS DMV'S (B1).
DRAWING OF VILLAGE SITE WITH POSS HOUSE PLATFORMS & HOLLOW WAYS (B2).
NO DOCUMENTARY EVIDENCE FOR SETTLEMENT AT PUTLOWES. HOWEVER VCH LISTS 3 MANORS SO MAYBE 1 OF THOSE. NAME PUTLOWES DOES NOT FEATURE IN BUCKS PLACE NAME SOCIETY VOLUME (B3). NO TRACE OF SETTLEMENT (B4).



Deserted Medieval Village Putlowes SP 782151, accepted in 1965. Nothing visible on available RAF A/P's (B1 and B5)
No trace of settlement pattern in pastured fields. (B6).
NRHE insert 1997 (B7).
