EARTHWORK NOT EXPERTLY EXAMINED. DITCH APPROX 66YDS SQUARE. C.50YDS FROM STREAM. BETWEEN DITCH & STREAM WERE SMALLER EARTHWORKS OF INDETERMINATE OUTLINE. (WEST OF THE DITCH WERE THE RUINS OF CASTLE FARM, PROBABLY A C17 HOUSE; FURTHER INFO ON CASTLE ETC ON CAS CARD & FILE)(B1).
