VILLAGE EARTHWORKS: HOUSE PLATFORMS & PROBABLE HOLLOW WAYS ETC IDENTIFIED & PLOTTED (SEE 25 SKETCH PLAN FILED). FOUND BY MRS J STRONG (B1). SEE ALSO CASS 02243.

Boundaries of medieval/post medieval date are visible on historic aerial photographs and remote sensing data as extant earthworks and were mapped as part of the Aylesbury Vale Aerial Investigation and Mapping project (EBC18604). Located east of Barrack Hill, Nether Winchendon, and centred at SP 73435 12276. Earthwork boundaries forming small parcels are visible in a pasture field east of Barrack Hill. (3-
