Description
BOWLS/DISHES & STRAIGHT-SIDED FLOWER POT-TYPES ARE THE ONLY CERTAIN PRODUCTS OF THE C19th KILN, THOUGH JUGS WERE ALSO SAID TO HAVE BEEN PRODUCED (B4; DESCRIPTION & DRAWINGS P149-150).
A dump of pottery wasters from the 2006 excavations at the site included Black glazed ware from the 18th and 19th century, a fabric that has been found in Oxford (B6).
