Description

MOUND DISCOVERED & EXCAVATED BY F W READER & BUCKS ARCH SOC. FORMED OF CHALK RUBBLE WITH LOT OF LARGE FLINTS. DISTINCT SURFACE INDICATIONS OF DITCH BUT NO TRACE IN EXCAVATION. GREAT NUMBER OF ANIMAL BONES, LITTLE POTTERY & POSS HEARTH FOUND (B1).
