Description
TRADITIONALLY THE BELLS FROM BOARSTALL CHURCH WERE SENT TO OXFORD DURING THE CIVIL WAR FOR MELTING DOWN AS GUN METAL. HOWEVER ANOTHER THEORY IS THAT THEY WERE HIDDEN IN A WELL BETWEEN THE CHURCH & BOARSTALL TOWER (B9).
