Description
TRIAL-TRENCHES RUNNING N-S & E-W ACROSS RIDGE SHOWED NO BOUNDARY DITCH & BANK. MAIN SITE HAD 2 TYPES OF PITS. A SMALL HEARTH, CONTAINING SOME POT, HAD BEEN SCOOPED OUT OF UPPER FILL OF 1 PIT. AREA OF INTERSECTING PITS, CUT INTO CHALK, REFILLED SHORTLY AFTER BEING DUG. MID C4-C1 BC (B2-5).
