AT 749 163 IS SITE OF FARMHOUSE MENTIONED IN DEEDS STILL HELD BY MR PETER ADAMS OF NEWHOUSE FARM, WESTCOTT, WHOSE FAMILY HAS BEEN CONNECTED WITH THIS SITE SINCE 1331. FOUNDATIONS REPORTED SEEN IN LIVING MEMORY. MRS DAISY ADAMS OF ASHENDON SAID TO HAVE PAINTING OF FARMHOUSE (B4).
