Description

KILN 2. POST-DATED KILN 1. FRAGMENTED & ONLY PARTIALLY EXCAVATED. POSSIBLY CIRCULAR, SINGLE FLUE TO SE, SE-SW ORIENTATION, BRICK BUILT ?WAS DUG INTO THE INFILLED KILN 1. HAD INTERNAL DIAMETER OF 1.8M. DATED TO EARLY C18. WHEN THIS KILN HAD GONE OUT OF USE, AREA USED FOR DUMPING WASTERS (B4).
