BARROW? (B1).
REGULAR CONICAL MOUND: ENCIRCLING DITCH SUGGESTED BY NARROW LEVEL AREA 1M WIDE AT BASE. SLIGHT TRACES OF EXTERNAL BANK 2.75M WIDE DISCERNIBLE AT S & NE. APPARENTLY POSITIONED TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF FALSE CREST AT N END OF RIDGE. LITTLE EROSION. SURVEY AT 1:100 (B2).
SCHEDULED: SAM 19047 (B7).
Condition survey 2000 (B3).
Geophysical surveys carried out by Bartlett-Clark Consultancy in September 2002 and June 2003 identified pit-like anomalies adjacent to the mound but failed to find any evidence of a ditch. See report for details (B5).
