PIRENORE, PART OF 'BRAND'S FEE', CONNECTED WITH GREAT KINGSHILL (B6). GRANTED TO MISSENDEN ABBEY C.1275 (B2,4,7). PIRENORE HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED WITH EARTHWORKS E OF GRANGE FARM (B2). NAME 'GRANGE FARM' SUGGESTS MONASTIC CONNECTION, BUT DEFINITE EVIDENCE LINKING FARM WITH PIRENORE IS LACKING (B4).
