PRESENTED BY MISS HELEN THOMPSON TO BRITISH MUSEUM. IMPERFECT AT BOTH ENDS, LIGHT OCHREOUS PATINA, ROLLED, ALMOST PARALLEL SIDE-EDGES, RECENT FRACTURE CRACKS VISIBLE. FOUND IN GRAVEL PIT (B1).
TIP BROKEN, FINISHED WITH SOFT HAMMER, IRREGULAR PROFILE, OCHREOUS PATINA (B2).
