Description

3 FLINT BLADES FOUND IN BACK GARDEN OF 17, THE GREEN. FLINT BLADE, 18MM LONG, TRIANGULAR SECTION, EDGE IS DAMAGED, PROBABLY MESOLITHIC. FLINT BLADE, 28MM LONG, TRIANGULAR SECTION, MESOLITHIC (B1&3). MESOLITHIC BLADE, SNAPPED, 39MM LONG, GREY-BLUE FLINT (B5). 2 FURTHER BLADES (B4)


"Long piece of flint blade found in 1974 by Mr Rodgers (in his back garden) at SP 65711378. Probably mesolithic, edge damaged. Now in BCM" (B6).
