Description

SMALL, TURRETED BRICK BUILDING ORIGINALLY ERECTED BY THOMAS MARQUESS OF WHARTON FOR HIS FAVOURITE LADY (B1-2).
SUMMERHOUSE, OF BRICK, 2-STOREYED WITH LOWER 2-STOREYED WINGS. THE MAIN WINDOWS OF THE CENTRE TO BOTH SIDES ARE TRIPLETS WITH 2 LOWER & 1 HIGHER, & WIDER ARCH. THIS & THE COMPLETELY UNMOULDED BLOCKS BETWEEN JAMBS & ARCHES ARE REMINISCENT OF VANBRUGH (B3).
