IMPORTANT HOUSE MUST HAVE EXISTED IN MANOR HELD BY WALTER GIFFARD (B2).
MRS DONALD BELIEVES 2 POSSIBLE PHASES: 1-CASTLE ON OR NEAR COP HILL (NO CONVINCING FEATURES FOUND) & 2-ON SITE OF EXISTING MANOR HOUSE (B4).
