Description

EXCAVATIONS AHEAD OF DEVELOPMENT ON S PART OF PROMONTORY THROUGH WHICH HUNTER ST RAN. POSSIBLE AREA OF SAXON BURH (BUILT 914); BUT EXCAVS FOUND NO PRE-CONQUEST OCCUPATION. A SEQUENCE OF PROPERTY BOUNDARIES, A C13 BUILDING, & POST-MED STRUCTURES WERE INVESTIGATED. NGR TO CENTRE, EXCAV AREA (B3).
