ARROWHEAD WITH TANG AND ONE OF THE BARBS BROKEN. FOUND IN BACK GARDEN AND BOUGHT FOR IDENTIFICATION TO BCM BY MR. GILES COOPER (B1,B6). (DRAWING FILED). LENGTH & SHAPE OF REMAINING TANG SUGGESTS A LATE BEAKER DATE (B7).
TQ 00008919. A barbed and tanged arrowhead, identified by Bucks County Museum, was found in the back garden of "Claverham", Oval Way, Gerrards Cross, by Miss E Cruikshank of that address in 1974. Retained by the finder (B1).
The precise find-spot of the arrowhead was indicated on the ground by the finder at SU 99988918. It was found on the surface and is retained by the finder, who also found four scrapers and a borer, and six flakes all of Me/Ne period (seen by the investigator) (B7).
