Description

Plan Form - Circular.
Coin showing head of Lucilla, wife of Verus (died AD 182). Found by Mr P Hopkins, Western Green Farm, c. 1952 (B1).

P Hopkins (a) found a Roman bronze coin, while gardening at Western Green Farmhouse c1952. The coin showed the head of "Lucilla, wife of Verus (d AD56)". The source of dating is uncertain as is the present whereabouts of the coin. Mr P Hopkins was able to indicate on the ground the find spot at SP 73493366.
