Description

THE ROCKOLLS WERE TENANTS IN C16 & C17 OF LANDS CALLED HOO, HOW, OR THE HOWE-GROUND, TO WHICH REFERENCES OCCUR FROM MID C13. THE DEANES WERE SAID IN 1845 TO HAVE BEEN SEATED AT THE HOWE SINCE 1709 (B1).
HOWE FARM ORIGINALLY HAD MANY FARM BUILDINGS, NOW ONLY HOUSE & 1 BARN REMAIN (B2).
