REMAINS OF ORNAMENTAL POND AT NGR. REACHED BY 2 TERRACES, ON E SIDE OF PLATFORM UPON WHICH HILLESDEN HOUSE ONCE STOOD. ON E SIDE OF POND IS A 3RD STEP DOWN, REVETTED WITH ASHLAR; THIS IS A 'HA-HA' (B7).
