Description

IN 1086 MANOR HAD A FISHERY OF 300 EELS, HELD BY BISHOP OF LINCOLN. IN 1382 A FISHERY CALLED WOOBURN LOCK BELONGED TO WOOBURN DEYNCOURT & WAS IN DISREPAIR BY 1422. MANORIAL RIGHTS INCLUDED FREE FISHERY IN THE WYE & THAMES (B3).
