Description
Plan Form - CURVED
DECOY HAD 4 PIPES (CURVED, CLOSED CHANNELS FOR TRAPPING DUCKS). ALL BUT WESTERN ONE NOW RESTORED. EACH IS C.50YDS LONG, 18IN DEEP & NARROWS FROM C.12FT AT ITS MOUTH TO 1FT AT END (B4,B7).
REMAINS OF OLD E PIPE, SILTED UP BY 1852. 2 FORMER W PIPES TRACEABLE AS EARTHWORKS. NATIONAL TRUST SURVEY (B9).
