Description

LITTLE POTTERY CAME FROM THE ACTUAL FILL OF DITCH1. HOWEVER, A VERY IMPORTANT DEPOSIT OF LARGE, CLOSELY GROUPED SHERDS, DATED TO LATE C12, WAS FOUND IN A RECTANGULAR PIT (?CESSPIT); THIS WAS CUT INTO THE FILL OF DITCH 1. (POTTERY REPORT BI 04 PP431- 443)
