FOUND BY MR C JANES AT MILK WORKS ALLOTMENTS, TRING ROAD, AYLESBURY (B1-2).
ALLOTMENTS ARE THOSE ADJACENT TO TRING ROAD CEMETERY; NGR TO CENTRE (B4).
Trial trenching and metal-detector survey carried out by AS&C in November and December 2009 in advance of a further extension of the cemetery recovered a 3rd or 4th century Roman coin from the topsoil in Trench 11. See report for detail (B5).
