Description

FOUND BY WORKMEN DIGGING TRENCH FOR TREES. PROVED TO CONSIST OF C.2400 CROWNS, HALF CROWNS, SHILLINGS & SIXPENCES OF EDWARD VI, PHILIP & MARY, ELIZABETH, JAMES I & CHARLES I (B1). SEVERAL REFERENCES TO HOARD BUT FRUSTRATINGLY INADEQUATE. DR LEE PUBLISHED 1921, BY WHICH TIME ORIGINS FORGOTTEN (B6).
