SHERDS FOUND IN BUILDING WORKS. ABOUT 1 METRE OF SOIL REMOVED SO NO TRACE OF BUILDINGS REMAINED. NO STRUCTURES NOTED BY BUILDERS. STAMPED CLAY FLOORING FOUND. SHERDS SPAN EARLY 2 CENTURY TO EARLY 4 CENTURY. SHERDS DESCRIBED (B1-2).
CONCENTRATION AT DAWES CLOSE. 1 OR MORE TIMBER BUILDINGS PROBABLY (B3).
