HOUSE PLATFORM ON END OF ACRE STRIP. TRIAL TRENCH REVEALED A STRETCH OF COBBLING ON SIDE OF PLATFORM & CLAY LAYER WITH MEDIEVAL OCCUPATION LEVEL 9INS THICK. CLAY WAS PROBABLY A FLOOR LAYER OF A SMALL TIMBER-FRAMED BUILDING (BI1,3)
