BURYSTEAD HELD BY BUCKMASTERS, C19. DESTROYED 100 YEARS AGO. WAS OF TIMBER, LATH & PLASTER & BRICK, IN A BANKED, SQUARE ENCLOSURE. HOUSE THE ANCIENT MANOR HOUSE BELIEVED TO BE AN END-WINGED HALL HOUSE (B2).
