Description

2 MILLS KNOWN AS AMY MILL & BOIS OR CANADA MILL STOOD OPPOSITE EACH OTHER. CANADA MILL WAS PREVIOUSLY KNOWN AS BOIS SAWMILL.. IN 1854 GEORGE ROSE WAS DESCRIBED AS MILLER & SAWMILLER. IT WAS CONVERTED TO WOOD TURNING AND BECAME KNOWN AS CANADA MILL BECAUSE THE MILLER HAD VISITED CANADA (B9).
