Description

IN THE C16 AMY MILL WAS A FULLING MILL; SEVERAL BURIAL ENTRIES OF ITS MILLERS OCCUR IN THE PARISH REGISTERS (EG 1592,1596,1616). BY THE C19 IT HAD BECOME A FLOUR MILL & WAS SOLD IN 1838 TO GEORGE ROSE, ALSO MILLER AT ELLIOTTS, CANADA & LORDS MILLS (B9).
