Description

IN THE BROADWAY THE CAGE ONLY A FEW YEARS AGO REARED ITS UNSHAPELY HEAD, & THE POUND & THE STOCKS ADJOINED IT. THEY WERE REMOVED IN 1833...THIS SPOT HAD FORMERLY BEEN GRACED ALSO BY A PILLORY (B1-2).
