Description

POSSIBLE CLAY PIPE KILN DISCOVERED DURING DEVELOPMENT WORK. AMONG A QUANTITY OF PIPES WAS ONE WASTER & THEREFORE THIS IS BELIEVED TO BE A KILN SITE. THE PIPES ARE DATED C1700 (B3 P131).
ANOTHER CLAY PIPE KILN FOUND IN CASTLE STREET (CASS 4461). (LIST OF BUCKS PIPEMAKERS CAS FILE 0000).
