Description

THERE WAS A MINT AT AYLESBURY DURING THE REIGNS OF ETHELRED II (1014-23) CNUT (1016-35) & EDWARD THE CONFESSOR (1042-66) (B1,B3).
SILVER PENNIES FROM THE AYLESBURY MINT HAVE BEEN FOUND IN THE CHANCTON HOARD, SUSSEX, DUNBRODY, CO WEXFORD, & WALBROOK LONDON (B2). BUCKINGHAM MINT- SEE CASS 0210.
