'ONE OF THE MOST ANCIENT (INNS) IN THE COUNTY' (B3).
REPLACED (MORE PROBABLY ALTERED) IN 1814; THIS NEW BUILDING DESTROYED 1864 FOR CORN EXCHANGE & MARKET BUILDINGS (B4).
