CHAPEL DELL, PRESUMED SITE OF CHANTRY CHAPEL, APPEARS TO BE REMAINS OF MOAT & CHAPEL LANE FORM BOUNDARY OF A SMALL CROFT IS PROBABLY SITE OF ANCIENT CHAPEL & CHAPEL-YARD (B2).
TRADITIONAL SITE OF CHAPEL DELL ETC AT NGR WHERE A LINE OF RECTANGULAR PONDS COULD BE THE 'MOAT' (B5).
