AREAS OF IRON SLAG ASSOCIATED WITH ENCLOSURE, PARTICULARLY AT N & S END OF SOUTHERN BANK. SOME IS TAP SLAG WITH SOME PIECES OF HEARTH/FURNACE LINING SUGGESTING A R/B OR LATER ORIGIN. T HUSSEY HAS NOT SEEN SLAG ELSEWHERE ON NAPHILL COMMON (B6).
AREA SYSTEMATICALLY SURVEYED FOR IRON SLAG, & PLOTTED (B7).
