Description
Dimensions - Radius 64mm.
Plan Form - Annular.
A bronze torc (incorrectly described as a fibula) found on the estate of William Selby in June 1793. Found in bed of solid clay 5 feet below surface, beside a rivulet, not 1 mile from Winslow. In the possession of Mr Grove of Whitchurch (B1).
Armilla (B2).
Bronze torque. 5 inches diameter, ends dilated & turned back to form hook/fastening. (Illustration)(B4).
Reputed found in old claypits, behind Station Road (NGR)(B7).
Described as 'Late Cletic' (IA) (B8).
