QUERN FRAGMENT, BLOCK OF PUDDINGSTONE BROKEN FROM A MUCH LARGER BLOCK. 1 FACE CONCAVE AND WORN SMOOTH. A HOLE THROUGH IT 64MM DIAMETER AT 1 END AND ONLY 25MM DIAMETER ON CONCAVE FACE. FOUND DURING FORESTRY CLEARANCE BY MR.HOWARTH (BIBL.1,2)
