Description

Grade II. Urn on pedestal. Early-mid C18. Stone. Erected by Robert and Martha Clayton in memory of Thomas Fibmill(?). Cylindrical pedestal with inscription on drape; small urn with latin inscription and floral swags. Inscription records that Robert and Martha Clayton 'first built and planted in Marden MDCXCVIII.' Presumably moved from original site at Marden, Surrey (B5).
